ARC Post-Doctoral Fellowship (Deadline January 6, 2020)

The Algorithms and Randomness Center (ARC) at Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking multiple postdoctoral fellows to participate in research investigations. The initial one-year appointment will begin July 1, 2020 (or later date), and it may extend contingent upon research performance for another year. 

ARC has faculty associated with multiple departments including Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial and Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering (http://www.arc.gatech.edu/faculty). ARC also works closely with the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program on Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization (ACO).

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on any aspect of algorithms, optimization, broadly interpreted, and collaborate with ARC faculty. There is no teaching requirement, but there are opportunities to lead a graduate seminar or a small undergraduate course.

Qualified applicants must possess a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research or a related field. A strong technical background is expected, and successful applicants will also exhibit leadership organizational skills.
